  Eilhard Lubinus’s Words and Pictures: Exhibition Catalogue March 2025 marked the 460th anniversary of the birth of Eilhard Lubinus, a distinguished scholar of the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries. To mark the occasion, the Main Library of the University of Szczecin opened an exhibition dedicated to him, showcasing old printed works (books and maps) authored by him or associated with him. These came not only from the Library's collections but also from the Pomeranian Library and the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle in Szczecin. The exhibition curator intended them to provide a relatively comprehensive insight into Lubinus's achievements in every field of his broad scholarly activity. The exhibition and this catalogue are divided thematically into areas presenting Lubinus as a philologist and cartographer, and are supplemented by a summary of the conservation work carried out in Toruń.
