Jovan Đorđević remained true to his style, and that is precisely what has always been described by creative photographers with a single expression: the style of honest photography.   Двојезична фото-монографија „Београд наше младости – Belgrade of our youth” са 240 фотографија насталих између 1959. и 1969. године представља хронику једног времена. То је Београд каквог се неки сећају, а други не познају. Аутор монографије, коју је објавила „Лагуна”, је Јован Ђорђевић, по струци школовани музичар и педагог, а иначе пасионирани фотограф. Шетајући улицама главног града, украо је од заборава људе, улице, зграде, атмосферу шездесетих година прошлог века, а књигу су приредили Бранка Наканиши, кћерка Јована Ђорђевића, и Драгољуб Гајић.
