Sculptor Gordana Kaljarević and photographer Đorđe Odanović presented a joint project entitled Opposite at the Belgrade Sales Gallery. "In this complex multimedia project, the two artists lucidly and sensitively thematize the diffuse and sometimes difficult-to-read phenomenon of time, as well as the variants of the old and the new," writes Ljiljana Ćinkul. With objects, video works, text, body language and voice, Gordana Kaljarević and Đorđe Odanović draw interesting parallels between 20th-century mailboxes and virtual social networks in 21st-century electronic mailboxes, depicting the status and experience of the individual in multimedia and multicultural societies.
