  Kombinat: Industrial Ruins of the Golden Era By presenting in the debut album the fortified boyar houses of Oltenia and western Wallachia, we dealt with what – whether we know it or not, we like it or not – falls into the heritage category. This second appearance provokes to a greater extent. Kombinat is a metaphor for the irretrievable, of the percentage of irretrievable that the myth of industrialization filtered by communist ideology left behind. The motivation of this book is not the proposal of any solution or method in relation to the ruined sites of socialist industry, but only the desire not to let darkness and oblivion fall on yet another drama that these places were forced to experience.
