Physics of the Earth The journal publishes original research papers and reviews on problems of general and applied geophysics, concerned with the investigation of the Earth's interior. Theoretical and experimental studies of structure and properties of matter in the Earth's crust mantle and central core are discussed. Within the coverage of the journal are physical treatment of tectonic movements, physics of earthquakes, their zoning and prediction, physics of underground explosions, etc. Special sections consider literature reviews and scientific news.
