  Annual report on development of rule of law in Guizhou (2013) China is a nation embedded with a long history of tea culture.With the development of the society,a new phase of Chinese tea industry is being presented to us.Against the background that China continues to increase its support to agriculture,the tea industry received great concern and promotion from the governments at all levels in 2011,maintaining a sound development in both diversification and quality of tea products. As a whole,the output and value of all kinds of tea have continued to increase in different degrees.Compared with 2010,tea plantation area has been raised by 9.6%,reaching 2.207 million hectares.In addition,tea production has reached 1,552,934 tons, 9.9% and 139889 tons more than those of 2010.Meanwhile,compared with the output value of 55.85252 billion yuan in 2010,Chinese tea output valued 72.88979 billion yuan in 2011,growing 30.5%. In the year of 2011,with an obvious year-on-year growth on the price and the more distinct regional characteristics of Chinese tea consumption,its domestic market increased steadily.At the same time,Chinese tea also showed a rising trend on the international market.The quantity of the export was 322,600 tons in 2011,increased 6.6%,the export value was 965 million US dollars,increased 23.1%,the average unit price of tea exported was 2,991.8 US dollars per ton,increased 15.4%,creating a new record high in history.In 2011,there are 120 countries importing Chinese tea,ten countries more than that of2010. In recent years,the tertiary industry became closely related to tea industry. For example, tea tourism industry has developed in a good way.With the increasing popularity of the tea creative industry,the investments of constructing the tea brand increased continuously and brought obvious effects in promoting vigorously the tea culture with diversifying methods.Moreover,China expands tea education to facilitate the rapid development of its tea industry. With respect to the quality,China also makes further advances in its security level.With regard to the tea production technology,it attaches much more attention to the ecology,high-technology,standardization as well as normalization. On the basis of the past tea circulation system,the upgrading and transformation of tea industry are speeding up.Therefore,a fresh new pattern of the modern tea industry is coming into being gradually.Certainly,there still exists various important problems,such as small industrial scale,low export quantity,insufficient mature technology of deep processing in tea products and the poor extension strengths of international market,etc.As a result,the tea culture exerts a weak influence on the outside world.Consequently,it will remain a target and mission for the tea industry of China in a relatively long period to remove these shortages. On the basis of the Blue Book of Tea Industry 2011 ,we present the 2013 version,in the hope of interpreting the new face of Chinese tea industry with a fresh new objective perspective,capturing its developing route in the new situations,dissecting its focus questions in development,as well as promoting its transformation and upgrading.For these purposes,this Blue Book falls into five parts: part I summarizes the overall situations of the development of Chinese tea industry on all sides;part II makes thematic reports involving the current situation of Chinese tea industry and the future cross-strait cooperation research on tea industry,etc.;part III conducts research and reports on the industry development in various tea production regions respectively;part IV conducts thematic reports on the main tea categories in China;and the last part analyzes the focal problems of the Chinese tea industry in 2011 distinctively.
