Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus : statistical book Statistical book presents information characterizing the most important socio-economic indicators of the republic, situation in the agrarian sector, its material and technical basis, financial standing, and other. Special attention in the book is paid to the plant-growing and animal husbandry indicators, such as the size and structure of sown area, gross harvest and yield capacity of agricultural crops, livestock availability and output of livestock products. Time-series for selected indicators refer for a lenghter period. Alongside with these, there are data on the geographic characteristics of the country, number of population, land tenure, fixed assets, and investments in fixed capital, production of the main food industry products, etc.
