  Captivity For 86 days, Ukrainian soldiers held the defense in the besieged Mariupol and on the territory of the Azovstal plant. To save the lives of the soldiers and save the wounded, by order of the high military command, the defenders stopped the defense, left the territory of the plant and were to surrender as so-called “honorary prisoners” in the presence of international organizations and observers, with the condition of an exchange in 3-4 months. Valeria “Nava” Subotina was part of the press service of the Azov regiment. She was destined to be a prisoner — first in Olenivka, then in the Taganrog prison — for more than 11 months. Valeria described all the circles of hell that she went through in almost a year in this book. Constant surveillance, control, humiliation, inhumane conditions of detention, critical shortage of food and water, the enemy's attempts to break her physically and morally, to subjugate, intimidate, push her to betrayal - all this happened to her. Interrogations and torture were exhausting. The impossibility of contact with friends and family, disinformation and propaganda of the enemy took away the last hope for an exchange and freedom. But captivity did not break the brave woman, now she is a witness to the atrocities of the Russian Federation.

  86 діб українські військові тримали оборону в оточеному Маріуполі та на території заводу «Азовсталь». Для збереження життів бійців і порятунку поранених, наказом вищого військового командування, захисники припинили оборону, покинули територію заводу і мали здатися в так званий «почесний полон» у присутності міжнародних організацій і спостерігачів, з умовою обміну через 3-4 місяці. Валерія «Нава» Суботіна була в складі пресслужби полку «Азов». Їй судилося бути в полоні — спочатку в Оленівці, потім в Таганрозькій тюрмі — понад 11 місяців. Всі кола пекла, які вона пройшла за майже рік, Валерія описала в цій книжці. Постійне спостереження, контроль, приниження, нелюдські умови утримування, критичний дефіцит їжі та води, намагання ворога зламати її фізично і морально, підкорити, залякати, підштовхнути до зради — все це відбувалося з нею. Допити та катування виснажували. Неможливість контактів з друзями й рідними, дезінформація і пропаганда ворога забирали останню надію на обмін і свободу. Але неволя не зламала сміливу жінку, тепер вона — свідок злодіянь рф.
