  Money and Pecuniary Obligations in Civil Law The book contains an inter- and intra-disciplinary research on money and pecuniary obligations in civil law. The first chapter is dedicated to the legal theory of money, where the author also develops a theory of the legal fiction of money in private law. Chapter two addresses the general characteristic of pecuniary obligations, including aspects of enforcement, method, means and instruments of payment, monetary nominalism. Chapter three is dedicated to the specific effects of pecuniary obligations, including interest and other specific effects. The research reflects a study of international practice and legal literature in 6 languages, carried out, among others, in the library of the University of Kiel (Germany) and the international library of UNIDROIT.

Primul capitol este dedicat teoriei juridice a banilor, unde autorul dezvoltă și o teorie a ficțiunii juridice a banilor în dreptul privat. Capitolul doi abordează caracteristica generală a obligațiilor pecuniare, inclusiv aspecte privind executarea, metoda, mijloacele și instrumentele de plată, nominalismul monetar. Capitolul trei este dedicat efectelor specifice ale obligațiilor pecuniare, printre care se includ dobânda și alte efecte specifice.
