The Crypto-Populist: Who Pavel Durov Works For: A Critical Biography Pavel Durov is a brawler, visionary, creator of VKontakte and Telegram, sperm donor, and object of persecution by the special services. He never gave truly candid interviews. Except for one exception – his conversations with the author of this book. Conflicts with Putin, the FBI and French prosecutors, a fanatical desire for freedom (including in private life) and the protection of freedom of speech, bordering on permissiveness – all this is about "Cryptopopulist".
