  Perhaps We’ll See Each Other This Summer in Prague: Letters from Archaeologist and Art Dealer Ludwig Pollak to Archaeologist Wilhelm Klein and Historian Josef Šusta The book presents an edition of Pollak's letters to his teacher, the Prague professor of archaeology Wilhelm Klein, and to his lifelong friend, the historian Josef Šust, whom he met in Rome, where Šust was staying thanks to a scholarship. Pollak's letters, made available here in the German original and in Czech translation, provide valuable evidence of the vanished world of contacts between Czech and German (or Czech-German) scholars in the period before the First World War and in the interwar period. Pollak perished with his entire family in Auschwitz in 1943.
