Muslims in the Principality of Montenegro: 1880-1894: Collection of Documents The collection of documents "Muslims in the Principality of Montenegro: 1880-1894: Collection of Documents", compiled by Jovan Muhadinović and Admir Adrović, contains 328 selected documents from the collection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the State Archives of Montenegro in Cetinje. By consistently transcribing the original documentation, the editors prepared the manuscripts of the collection, which was then submitted to the publisher.
Respecting the principles of historiography to preserve the authenticity of the documents, only necessary linguistic interventions were made:
- obvious spelling errors recorded in the documents were corrected;
- connected words and phrases (two, three and four words each) were separated;
- a number of unnecessarily separated words were joined;
- errors in writing the initial capital letter were corrected, especially noticeable in anthroponyms and toponyms.
In this way, the authenticity and originality of the documents were preserved, while at the same time readers were enabled to use them more easily. Everything else was faithfully reproduced as in the originals.
