  The Greek World in the Mirror of the Golden Age of Spain The book examines the image that was formed in Spain of Greece and its inhabitants during the two centuries of the so-called Spanish "Golden Age". Based on testimonies of political, historical, chronographic, literary, theatrical, travel, etc. texts, which capture the spirit (positive, negative or indifferent) with which the Spaniards viewed the Greek world of their time. Despite the negative conditions (geographical, ideological and historical), the Greek world was not absent from Spanish literature, as is generally believed, during the critical period from the end of the Middle Ages to almost the end of the 17th century.
