  • Description

Supplementary Notes of the Xingli Qunshu Wune (1372-1457), named Minde and named Si'an, was a native of Haiyu (now Changshu, Jiangsu Province) in the early Ming Dynasty. On the basis of long-term reading of Zhu Xi's interpretation of the Sutras and Xiong Gangda's annotation of "Xingli Qunshu Jujie", I selectively deleted the main text of "Jujie", corrected and added the main text of "Jujie", and pointed out that Xiong Gang After overcoming the deficiencies in the annotations and making concise and easy-to-understand supplementary annotations for those difficult-to-understand points, the fourteen volumes of "Supplementary Annotations to the Xingli Qunshu" were finally compiled. This book not only made great achievements in the compilation of Neo-Confucian literature in terms of material selection, examples, ordering, and revision, but also reflected the admiration for Zhu Xi's studies in the early Ming Dynasty. This time, the collation and proofreading of Wu Na's "Supplementary Notes" is based on the reprinted Ming Dynasty edition of the Seongjong reign of the Joseon Dynasty (1470-1494) stored in the National Central Library of Korea. The published version (remnant version) and the Japanese manuscript are the proofread version, which basically restores the original Ming Dynasty version of the "Supplementary Notes", making up for the regret that readers in today's society cannot read the complete version of the "Supplementary Notes of the Xingli Qunshu".
