Xie Tiao’s Collection and Annotations Xie Tiao (464-499), whose courtesy name was Xuanhui, was a member of the Xie family in the Southern Dynasties. Xie Tiao's literary achievements are extremely high. His Yuefu and Wuyan works are rich in content, among which the works depicting landscapes are the most prominent. Xie Tiao experienced the decline of his family and the ups and downs of his official career, so his poems not only showed his unique political thoughts and attitudes towards life, but also carried his sincere and complex emotions. Mr. Cao Rongnan used Yan Kejun's "Complete Qiwen" of "The Complete Ancient Texts of Three Dynasties, Qin, Han, Three Kingdoms and Six Dynasties" and Wu Qian's original version of "Xie Xuancheng Collection" as the base. He collected all Xie Tiao's poems, poems and essays, edited and annotated them, and compiled lost articles, prefaces and postscripts. Various scholars, etc., are of great benefit to study and appreciation. The appendix at the end of the book is "A Series of Xie Tiao's Deeds, Poems and Prose".
