  Nietzsche on Virtue The present volume is dedicated to the peak phase of Nietzsche's thinking, which includes, first of all, the book Thus Spoke Zarathustra. The common theme of the individual studies is the motif of virtue, which, especially in the heightened form of bestowing virtue, is usually given less attention than topics such as the eternal return of the same, the death of god or the will to power. The joint effort of the authors is to point out the central role of this motif and to interpret it within the framework of Zarathustra and the writings capturing the "noon" of Nietzsche's thought. In addition to the immanently Zarathustrian studies, the volume presents dialogic states in which the motif of virtue is confronted with the perspective of other thinkers.
