  The Trip to Montenegro of the Saxon King Frederick Augustus "The most authentic and precious contemporary description of the visit of the Saxon king to Njegoš and Cetinje was published in 1841 in Trieste, in a book in Italian entitled 'Report on the trip in the spring of 1838 of His Royal Majesty Frederick Augustus of Saxony to Istria, Dalmatia and Montenegro'. In that book, the botanist Bartolomeo Biazoleto, a direct participant in those events, published his diary entry, along with a series of notes with botanical, geographical, ethnographic and other observations about Montenegro," states the introduction to Vesna Kilibarda's study. The European press wrote about the first visit of a foreign ruler to Cetinje, and official official reports were created on the occasion.
