Early Medieval Earrings With Four Brass Berries in Northern, Central and South-Eastern Europe: A Case Study of the Emergence of Magnificent Great Moravian Jewellery The publication focuses on four-beaded earrings from Bohemia, Moravia, Slovakia and Lower Austria, with the majority of the studied artefacts coming from the 9th-century Great Moravian burial grounds. In the first part of the book, the typology of these earrings with several specific categories is analysed, including their chronological data and production method. The second part of the publication addresses the provenience of these artefacts, and the assemblage is compared with analogous earrings that occurred on the vast territory from Sweden to Greece in the 9th–12th centuries.
