"The Revolution of the Times" Film Interview This book is a compilation of interviews with the fifteen main interviewees of the movie "The Revolution of Our Times"; the oldest is over eighty years old, and the youngest was only fourteen at the time of the protest in 2019. From their experience in the anti-extradition movement, we can see how many Hong Kong people contribute their different abilities and develop their creativity in connecting with unknown others in their respective positions in the absence of a large platform (no command center). Gathering and launching wave after wave of protests; there are psychological changes about why they took to the streets, their strong desire for democracy, their love for Hong Kong as a common home, the maintenance and persistence of the rule of law, and even violence against the country direct indictment. The most shocking and touching thing is that almost every interviewee, no matter how frightened, still showed their determination to stand up to violence as brothers and sisters. No matter what they say: "I think my courage comes from wanting to see every sibling get the treatment they deserve", "I'm scared, but I'm even more afraid that I won't see them tomorrow", "If you don't have me there, there is an extra risk of being arrested for the siblings in front of me," or "I don't want children younger than me to bear this", both of which showed incomparable courage, fraternity and brotherhood. These noble friendships cannot be concealed even in the face of brutal police and state violence, even the silence and distortion of the media.
