Sources and Monographs TN KUL = A Monk, or a Book of Dialogues on Religion in Four Distinct Dialogues The series "Old Polish Drama and Religious Dialogue" includes both stage works in which the order of representation and plot can be indicated, as well as religious dialogue texts of a discursive nature. In this way, it creates the possibility of publishing Renaissance and Baroque works important for the history of literature or the history of religion (sometimes reaching back into the eighteenth century) with a broadly understood feature of theatricality. The works published in the series, written in Polish and Latin, in verse and prose, come from Catholic and Protestant backgrounds, and their critical study takes into account the European context with which they are often related. The series assumes bilingual editions for most of the works, which not only facilitates the reading of hitherto little-known but important works of early literature, but also shows how this literature absorbed and processed the most attractive threads, stimulating the confessional milieu of contemporary humanists and writers to discuss and polemicize on a wide European scale.
