Poetry: Patterns: Volume I Jonas Mekas (1922–2019) is one of the greatest masters of independent avant-garde cinema, a poet, playwright, essayist and critic. The first volume of "Scriptures" publishes all his poetry written in Lithuanian and English. Kornelijus Platelis translated the English poems of Jonas Mekas into Lithuanian.
