  On May 7th 2019, Yan'an announced to the world it had alleviated poverty. This achievement marked the culmination of the project whereby Yan'an upheld poverty alleviation as the economic and social development goal of the city and implemented General Secretary Xi's "giving full play to two obvious advantages" and "cracking down on one prominent problem". Yan'an has a population of 2. 26 million with a GDP of 155. 891 billion yuan, and an average per capita income of 22.357 yuan. Yan'an has orchestrated a historical turn around from merely being able to feed and clothe its citizens to eliminating absolute poverty, and it now embraces prosperity.

  2019年5月7日，延安向世界宣布脱贫攻坚。这一成果标志着延安市坚持把脱贫攻坚作为全市经济社会发展目标，贯彻落实习总书记“发挥两个明显优势”和“攻坚克难”的成果。延安市人口2.26亿，国内生产总值155. 8910亿元，人均收入22、357元。延安精心策划了一个历史性的转变，从仅能温饱人口到消除绝对贫困，现在已经迎来了繁荣。
