  The publication provides access to dialect texts obtained in 2011–2019 during the author's field research between Ruthenians and Ukrainians in eastern Slovakia and in the Transcarpathian region of Ukraine. The book contains texts in phonemic transcription from 14 municipalities, whose dialect is briefly characterized. The most common topics represented in the texts are customs associated with calendar cycle holidays, weddings, preparation of everyday and festive meals, processing of flax, hemp and sheep wool, spinning, weaving, home farming, telling informants about one's own life, memories of World War II and life in post-war decades.
