  The Duchy of Samogitia in the Texts of the Gadonas Noble Family This book, conditionally entitled "Samogitian Duchy in the Writings of the Noble Gadons", appeared in the author's mind back in 1996, collecting material for the history of Samogitia. First of all, there is a lot of correspondence, manuscripts and the book “Statistics of the Samogitian Duchy” published in France in 1839, which is almost unknown in Lithuania, and a lot of material to study the uprising in Samogitia in 1830–1831, stored in the Polish Library in Paris. , as well as in the Manuscript and Iconography Department of the Dukes Čartoriskys Library in Kraków.
