  Lithuanian Metrica: Book No. 21: Book of Inscriptions No. 21 (1536-1537) The Book comprises 210 documents designated in the register and numbered in the text. The majority of them - 198 documents - are written in Ruthenian, the language predominantly used in the chancery of the GDL, and there are 12 Latin documents. The overwhelming majority of them are ruler's charters confirming legal acts consolidating the gentry's rights to land owning, related duries, investitures, validation of wills, and cases of inheritance of landholdings and property by will.
