  Biographical Dictionary of Silesia and Northern Moravia: Supplementum 4 A collective work of experts from various scientific fields, published by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ostrava and written by experts from various scientific fields, the lexicon features biogrammes depicting the lives of significant personalities who had ties to the region through their origin or activities. The lexicon was compiled on the basis of the Dutch method to include profiles of significant personalities from all areas of social life. With regard to the specifics of the region, the lexicon also includes representatives of ethnic minorities (German, Polish, Jewish).
