  This Land is Our Land: Czech and German Public Spaces in a Deictic Perspective The author extends the originally narrow meaning of deixe so that it can become a common interpretative denominator of phenomena and processes which have so far been rarely sought in relationships and contexts. This creates a so-called deictic perspective, from which the world of social communication and sharing is viewed and analyzed. The theme is explained in both theoretical and concrete examples from today's Czech and German public spaces, where the question is asked who and what is ours and what is foreign.
