  A Homage to Korean Architecture: Wisdom of the Earth Marking the 50th anniversary of the Samsung Foundation of Culture, this exhibition was held in conjunction with the publication of a series of photo books to promote traditional Korean culture around the world and represents the museum's efforts to be more proactive in providing a forum for communication and enhancing international awareness of Korea's architectural tradition. Through this exhibition of architectural photos by six prominent Korean photographers - Joo Myung-duck, Bae Bien-u, Bohnchang Koo, Kim Jae-kyeong, Seo Heun-kang, and KDK Kim Kokyun - along with old maps, paintings, and replicas of traditional architecture, an attempt was made to bring together past and present, and architecture and the visual arts.
