  Historiography of the Holocaust in Yugoslavia The Historiography of the Holocaust in Yugoslavia is a scientific work that deals with the history of the historiography of the Holocaust in Yugoslavia. The work is composed of three parts. In the first part, the author dealt with the criteria for Holocaust research, contextualization, and political perceptions. The second, and also the main, section is a presentation of the historiography of the Holocaust, which is periodized according to the periods in which a certain specific social climate dominated in the Yugoslav state itself. The third, concluding section, through a recapitulation of the presented content, draws the conclusion that the Yugoslav historiography of the Holocaust disappeared precisely in the period when, freed from ideological ballast, it entered a phase of maturity in which it could have yielded the most significant results.
