Military Archive Military archive - scientific, periodical publication of military history of General Jonas Žemaitis Lithuanian Military Academy, published once a year. The publication publishes original studies of military history by Lithuanian and foreign scientists and researchers, which analyze problems related to Lithuanian military history and the archeology of conflicts. "War Archive" has been published by the army since 1925. (12 volumes of the publication were published before the Soviet occupation in 1940), it is one of the oldest scientific publications published in Lithuania. The publishing tradition in the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Lithuania was revived in 1992. (vol. XIII), and since 2002 (vol. XVII) publication is published at the Lithuanian Military Academy of General Jonas Žemaitis. It is the only specialized scientific publication of Lithuanian military history in Lithuania.
