Proceedings of the Byzantine Institute Founded in 1948, the Institute is the only scienctific centre in Serbia pursuing research in Byzantine studies. The Institute's project Byzantology includes the following topics: History of Byzantium and Byzantine-South-Slavic Relations, Byzantine Sources for the History of Yugoslav Peoples, Byzantine Literature and the Medieval Greek Language, Byzantine and post-Byzantine Art.
