Poland's Demographic Past The series focuses on issues relating to historical populations are presented; including selected socio-professional groups or categories. In terms of micro, preference is given to research based on individual statistical material of a mass nature, with particular emphasis on source criticism. The periodical is open to works on the border of historical demography and other (sub) scientific disciplines - e.g. palaeodemography, formal demography, social and economic history, history of medicine, historical geography and population geography, social anthropology, statistics and computer science - as long as they provide an opportunity a more complete and multidimensional examination of demographic processes in the past. The territorial scope of PDP's interests includes primarily the areas of the former and present Polish state, regardless of their current or former affiliation.
